Anti Wrinkle Injections

Regardless of your gender, anti-wrinkle Neuromodulators, like Botox Cosmetic® and Dysport® can be used to correct fine frown lines, aging, wrinkles, and other problem areas. This treatment can help to smooth lines and wrinkles that make us look older and more tired than we really are. Neuromodulators work great on the frown lines between the eyebrows (11’s), on the forehead, and on the crows feet at the lateral aspects of the eyes. There’s no need to let lines and wrinkles bother you another day. Botox® Cosmetic and Dysport treatments can diminish lines and soften your appearance so you look younger and better refreshed with out invasive surgery or scars.

Why Choose Our Winter Haven Clinic?

Our staff has extensive experience in treating our clients who are seeking to revamp their look. We help you make an informed decision before trying a series of injections. We believe in relaxing the muscles and not freezing them, to create a more natural look. Some movement allows you to maintain your expressions and enhance your beauty. We love it when clients report back that everyone comments on how refreshed and young they look, but no one can tell what’s been done.

Because this is a non-surgical treatment, you can experience a shorter recovery time and see results much quicker. Typically muscle relaxation and wrinkle reduction begins approximately 3-7 days after injections, reaching max results around days 10-14. Get more information from our highly trained representatives. Call today for an initial consultation. Treatment can be done at the initial consultation if you so choose.

Individual consultation is required to determine how many units will be needed to achieve the desired outcome.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do results last?

On average, results will last an average of 3 -4 months. In some cases, treatment results can last as little as two months, while others may see their treatment last up to six months. This depends on factors such as physical activity, depth of wrinkles, metabolic level, area injected, amount injected, and frequency of facial expressions.

What are the side effects?

In general, there are little to no side effects in the patient when it is administered by a skilled practitioner. In the worst-case scenario, you may experience tenderness, soreness or bruising near the area of injection. This  is an incredibly safe cosmetic procedure that has no serious health complications when done by a certified professional.

What medical conditions would prevent me from anti-wrinkle injection?

If you have a neurological condition, you may be ineligible to receive Botox®. Additionally, if you are immunocompromised, you should also avoid receiving frequent injections. Consult with our injection experts and your PCP to see if you are an appropriate candidate.

If you are pregnant or nursing, you shouldn’t use anti-wrinkle injections until after you’ve given birth or finished breastfeeding. This is because doctors don’t know if Neuromodulators have an effect on unborn and nursing babies.

What should I do before this procedure?

Before injections, avoid supplements such as garlic, Ginkgo Biloba, Vitamin E, and ginseng. You should also avoid red wine or wine in general so that you don’t experience excessive bruising. Medication that causes your blood to thin should also be avoided to help reduce bruising.

What should I do after this procedure?

After your treatment, you should remain upright for at least the next 4 hours to keep the medication from settling into unwanted areas. The night of your treatment, use gentle cleansers and a light moisturizer on your skin. You may resume your normal skin care routine the next day. Additionally, the day of your treatment, you should avoid fitness activities that increase blood pressure and heart rate, and wait at least a day or more before you start a rigorous routine, to help minimize bruising and reduce unwanted spread of the neurotoxin.

How can I host or attend an anti-wrinkle injections event?

Botox events are a great way to spend a fun evening with friends and learn about popular facial rejuvenation procedures such as botox, dermal fillers, sculptra, PRP/PRF, hydrafacials, and SkinPen microneedling. These events are both educational and entertaining! Mingle with others who have already had the treatment; get your questions answered in a comfortable, relaxed setting; and minimize any anxiety you may have associated with the procedure! Can botox help Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating)?

Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating) is a disorder of uncontrollable, extreme, episodic, unexpected sweating beyond what’s considered “normal” or is necessary to maintain thermal homeostasis, or as a reaction to stress. Botox works by temporarily blocking the chemicals that signal it’s time for your glands to produce sweat. It doesn’t affect touch or sensation in the treated area(s). You only need one office visit to complete botox treatment for underarms, palms of hands, or bottoms of feet sweating. Treatments are typically repeated every 4-6 months.
