BPC 157

BPC 157, which stands for “Body Protection Compound 157,” is a naturally occurring peptide consisting of 15 amino acids, derived from a portion of the body’s own protein. Research suggests BPC 157 promotes healing of various tissues like skin, muscle, tendon, ligament, and bone by stimulating cell growth and blood vessel formation. Additional benefits include anti-inflammatory properties, enhanced collagen production, and improved skin elasticity. While BPC-157 doesn’t necessarily increase growth hormone, it does activate growth hormone receptors that send signals to increase growth hormone sensitivity to help accelerate healing. It can be particularly beneficial for athletes recovering from sports injuries or individuals dealing with chronic conditions like tendonitis or muscle strains and/or are looking to improve muscle strength.
